BeiJing Communication School

     Beijing Communication School is a famous national school. It is author-ized by Beijing Government as one of the modern schools which have int-ernational cooperation. Also it is assured by the Ministry of Education as a training school of skilled workers in manufacturing and service industry. The school was founded in 1960 and subjected to Beijing Communication Committee. The school occupies an area of 200 acres while the construct-ion area is 0.91 million square meters. There are 320 employees (includi-ng 104 high-grade teachers，146 vocational teachers). We have 9 major-s, 18 specializations and 6500 students .We also have modern education center and multifunctional stadium. The education center is equipped wit-h advanced equipments which can fulfill all kinds of vocational training. T-he multifunctional stadium can fulfill sports training and competitions. We also have 58 vocational classrooms and 2 modern training bases of auto-mobile repairing and logistics administration.

    The majors in our school are advanced and practical. We have long-te-rm cooperation with Quiver Education Development Company, Ltd in Eng-land, Basf Company in Germany, Tokyo Automobile Company in Japan an-d Beijing Automobile Repairing Company. We've introduced advanced vo-cational education and dedicate in improving education ability. As a resul-t, the National Ministry of Education, Ministration of Labor&Social Security, the National Trade Committee and the Ministry of Communication honore-d our school as Advanced National Vocational School in 2002 and in 2004.

    In the 45 years after its foundation, the school has been taking on the task of cultivating technical workers for capital traffic. The graduates can work in variety of fields such as auto-repairing, auto-service, road buildin-g, logistics administration, expressway administration, intelligent traffic a-dministration, transportation, etc. Many of them are the experts in these fields and some of them have got national prize.

1960 First built and named Beijing Traffic & Transportation Vocational School, located in Xisanqi,Haidian District,Beijing.

1962 June Renamed as Cadre-Training Center of Beijing Communication Bureau.

1964 September Renamed as Beijing Part-Time Communication School in July.

1969 June closed down.

1974 June Renewed and named in due form as Beijing Communication School, moved to Damochang in Chongwen
District December.

1974 December Moved to Shazikou in Fengtai District.

1989 September Moved to Qingyuan Road in Huangcun, Daxing District.

1998 October Authorized as Excellent City School by Beijing Education Committee.

2000 March Merged Beijing Auto-Driving School.

2001 Authorized as Reputed Vocational School of Beijing by Beijing Education Committee.

2001 March Authorized as National Reputed School by National Ministry of Education.

2002 February Carried out unified administration with Beijing Administration School of Communication Cadres.

2002 February Authorized as International Modern School by Beijing government.

2003 At the end of the year Honored as Advanced National Vocational School by Ministry of Education, Ministry of
Labor & Social Security, the National Trade Committee.

2004 January Began Construction project of International Modern School.

2004 Honored as Excellent National Communication Vocational School by Ministry of Communication.

2005 October Successfully finished construction for the first stage of International Modern School.
